二.课程教学的主要内容 (一)理论部分 1.Unit 1(4学时) 知识点: (1) 理解文章大意; (2) 能简单描述作为大学新生入学的心态和入校后事宜; (3) 掌握与大学校园相关的词汇、文章中的形容词、合成词的使用;复习常见的否定前缀; 重点: (1) 重点单词:survive, explore, voluntarily, whirlwind, overshadow, consequence, expand, genuine, incredible, challenge-laden, stressful. (2) 重点词组:the rest of, take advantage of, devote oneself to, sleep through, have sth. in common, expand one’s horizon. Unit 5 (学生自学) 知识点: (1) 能掌握15种体育运动的相关单词; (2) 理解文章大意,了解运动员对体育的热爱,学习拼搏精神; (3) 学会正确使用the more… the more…句式结构; (4) 了解中国武术的起源及发展历史。 重点: (1)重点单词:muscle, wonder, shoot, hesitation, count, court, determined, victory, coach, top-ranked, recruiter, division, (2) 重点词组:a sea of, stand out from, in wonder, give in to, much less, (3) 重点句子: 1) A sea of children, and yet to me, she stood out from them all. 2) I began to notice her at other times, basketball in hand, playing alone. 3) I decided that if I were good enough, I would get a scholarship. 4) If the dream is big enough, the facts don’t count. Unit 6 (4学时) 知识点: (1) 掌握主要电子产品的英文表达; (2) 理解文章大意,学会理性看待科技给生活带来的利弊; (3) 能就主题进行10个话轮的讨论; (4) 学会正确使用情态动词、理解抽象词和长难句; 重点: (1) 重点单词:switch, unplug, schedule, aware, diagnose, distract, accelerate, perception, fake, researcher, dependency, accessible, responsive, era, evolution, mindful, marvel; (2)重点短语: be/become aware of, in/by fits and starts, be hungry for, marvel at, rush into, go off; (3) 重点句子: 1) Time is relative to your state of motion. 2) But the technology we’ve created takes something away from us: being present, focused, and in the moment. 3) We marvel anew at our ability to put every thought and emotion into action by clicking, calling, and linking. Do you like…? What kind of…do you like? I really like… 口语表达:“自我介绍”;模拟初次见面,与来自世界各地的同学进行会话。 2. Unit 2 Families(1学时) 围绕“家庭”主题进行听力训练和语言表达拓展 重点词汇与表达: Family members, aunt, uncle, husband, wife, nephew, niece, grandmother, grandfather, grandson, granddaughter, sister, brother, son, daughter. 口语表达:“介绍家庭及成员”;分享家庭成员故事。 3. Unit 3 Numbers (2学时) 围绕“家庭”主题进行听力训练和语言表达拓展 重点词汇与表达: Zero to one hundred 口语表达:“交换电话号码”;编造需要用到数字的对话。 4. Unit 4 Let’s eat! (1学时) 围绕“食物”主题进行听力训练和语言表达拓展 重点词汇与表达: Foods, bananas, beef, bread, broccoli, cheese, chicken, lemons, melons, milk, mushrooms, pasta, shrimp, tomatoes, yogurt. 口语表达:“最爱的食物”;以食物为话题编造对话。 5.
